“69-96-69” by Marian Vanghelie

Every human that lives in Bucharest and many others from all over the beautiful country of Romania, should have heard at least once of Mr. Marian Vanghelie, the mayor of the 5-th district of Bucharest (“proud” capital of Romania).And everyone that has heard of him probably did this in circumstances close to Mr. Vanghelie’s issues with the romanian language or grammar.

But these days, his grammar was good, his language knowledge was good…instead he had a comment about not being able to hire models to carry the “Little ones” ( from romanian “Mici”, traditional food , meat rolls on the barbecue, that causes hysteria among the romanian population when they’re given for free during some kind of Mardi Grass on 1st of may) because some of the groups on the 1st of may party will require some 300-400 “Little Ones” (about 15-20 kg of meat)at once.So far , so good…it’s understandable, of course these fragile creatures barely carry themselves, so 15-20kg of food will be much more than their potential.

But the phrase that comes next probably will make another page of history in Bucharest’s picturesque life: “With the models we had a second thought, we made an analysis on them and we’ll see if they can, if they have the possibility to carry, we have let’s say a request from a union group . The union group says “we want 400 Little Ones”.And then there are models who have 69-96-69, did i say right? And we don’t know if they have the possibility.But maybe after 1st of may we’ll find the possibility to think an action with the models also”.
